2. Volunteer for NYAAF
We’re always looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:
- Write content for us: direct mail, thank you letters, blog posts
- Research health centers we should be working with
- Be a host or a co-host of a fundraising event to support NYAAF
- Spruce up our website and online presence
- Guide us on legal issues
- Stuff envelopes for our bi-annual fundraising mailings

3. Join the Board
NYAAF is not currently recruiting new board members, but when we do, we will post here!
NYAAF is an all-volunteer organization with a working Board (emphasis on the “working”) that does all of the intake coordination, bill paying, policy-setting, and maintenance of the organization.
4. Host an event to raise money for NYAAF
Play in a band that wants to throw a charity show? Work at a museum that wants to host a special tour? Live in a beautiful apartment and want to have people over? Have no connections but think you have what it takes to organize a successful event? Great!
