2024 Fund-a-Thon
Fund-A-Thon is a grassroots fundraising campaign that NYAAF, along with abortion funds nationwide, partake in every year. Each year from March to May 31, community members raise money on behalf of their local abortion fund.
Fund-A-Thon is a grassroots fundraising campaign that NYAAF, along with other abortion funds nationwide, partake in every year. Each year from March to May 31, community members raise money on behalf of their local abortion funds. This is NYAAF’s flagship fundraising campaign, a moment for us to connect to our community, for you all to uplift why you support reproductive access as it's been under attack, and a time for us all to celebrate together.
This year, we set a goal to raise $200,000 so we can continue to support 100% of callers.
When you join NYAAF’s Fund-a-Thon as an individual or team fundraiser, you undo abortion stigma, build community with other reproductive justice supporters, and move resources to people who need abortion access the most.
Whether you host your own fundraising party or mobilize your network through individual conversations, participating in Fund-a-Thon is engaging in radical care.

During this time, emails and phone calls will not be monitored and we will not be able to support any callers or new requests. We will begin taking new calls and funding abortions again starting the week of January 7. If you have any issues or questions during our closure, we will respond after January 7.
This is a bold first at NYAAF — before now we have never closed the helpline for such a break. We take inspiration from and honor the many funds in our network who lead by example and teach us that rest is indeed resistance. As we grow and adapt to this increasingly difficult landscape of abortion access, we are working to more intentionally live out the liberatory values of radical rest and community care.
