NYAAF’s work is rooted in the belief that better is possible and that community is sacred, and this conviction has only grown stronger in the four years without Roe.

Since the Dobbs decision, NYAAF has pledged more than $7.7 million in direct abortion funding, and supported nearly 12,000 abortion seekers from 41 states and US territories, as well as 26 countries. Despite everything thrown at us, we’re proud to have shown up in force for New Yorkers and beyond.

Our bodily autonomy should not be litigated. This direct attack on abortion via telehealth, or “abortion pills by mail,” is part of the larger coordinated effort to chip away at the remaining abortion access that does exist.

I know this sounds scary, but I want to be clear that this is the next step in their ultimate goal: to instate a national abortion ban.

This is not something the courts can take from us.
Not our dignity.
Not our joy.
Not the power of our community.
And for damn sure, not our abortions.

Fund-A-Thon is a grassroots fundraising campaign that NYAAF, along with abortion funds nationwide, partake in every year. Each year from March to May 31, community members raise money on behalf of their local abortion fund.

During this time, emails and phone calls will not be monitored and we will not be able to support any callers or new requests. We will begin taking new calls and funding abortions again starting the week of January 7.
